Day Trip to Philipsburg

Day Trip to Philipsburg

On Sunday a group of us headed out of Missoula to the small town of Philipsburg. There we discovered several quirky and quite astonishing things….

1. A camera store that could only be described as an Aladdin’s Cave for photographers. Stuff EVERYWHERE with no apparent order – you just had to dig through things to find the hidden gems. Prices were super cheap and quite flexible.

2. The Sweet Palace – a palace of sweets of every description. Those with a sweet tooth….consider yourself warned!

3. Ohrmann Museum & Gallery – some beautiful steel sculptures done by a guy in his late ’80’s. Quirky, fun and definitely worth a stop if you ever find yourself in this part of the world.

Here’s some photos of the day….
